Kofi discovers there is a demonic entity named Hattie killing the children of Caroltyn. She fears her daughter Laila is next. In order to defeat Hattie, she has to battle her inner demons and grow strong in her faith.

Oscar Diggs, a small-time circus illusionist and con-artist, is whisked from Kansas to the Land of Oz where the inhabitants assume he's the great wizard of prophecy, there to save Oz from the clutches of evil.
