Eddie R. Brown is a native of Miami, Florida where he attended the New World School of the Arts. After receiving his diploma he went on to study acting at The Theater School at DePaul University where he received a BFA in Acting. British actor Eddie Redmayne won the Academy Award for Best Actor (for The Theory of Everything (2014)). Edward John David Redmayne was born and raised in London, England, the son of Patricia (Burke) and Richard Charles Tunstall Redmayne, a businessman. His great-grandfather was Sir Richard Augustine Studdert Redmayne, a noted civil and mining engineer. He has English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh ancestry. Redmayne is the only member of his family to follow a career in acting, and also modeled during his teen years. He was educated at Eton College before going on to Trinity College, Cambridge, where he studied History of Art. Encouraged by his parents, Redmayne took drama lessons from a young age. His first stage appearance was in the Sam Mendes production of "Oliver!", in London's West End. He played a workhouse boy. Born Edmund Manuel Resendes he is a Portuguese American Actor, Writer and soon to be Director from East Providence Rhode Island. At the start off his career and wanting to learn how the film industry works he began doing background work just to get on set. After being on numerous sets he landed his first featured role in 2014 on set of the blockbuster film Ted2. After ending background work later that year Eddie teamed up with a growing production company that wrote and produced their own content. Now learning the behind the scenes side of the business, from 2015-2016 he began to write small segments for a weekly comedy sketch web series. After still working his craft, auditioning and landing small roles in indie films he headed to New York to take a 4 week training class at The Actors Green Room to better learn his type as an actor. Most recently in 2017 Eddie wrote his first feature film The Boyfriend which will also be his directorial debut with production aiming towards summer 2018. Eddie is on his way for bigger achievements and is looking forward to writing a screenplay where he can be opposite of an industry legend.
