Kunal Aneja ventured into writing with street plays during his college years at Delhi University. The environment and his influences led him to write and act in two street plays, Rajneeti Unplugged on political consciousness and Finding Shammi on fanaticism. His first thriller short film Sneh, produced by ScoopWhoop, was an official entry to the 18th MAMI Film Festival. Kunal has previously worked with The Viral Fever (TVF), among India's leading digital content creators where he developed a family comedy The Aam Aadmi Family (S1, S2), a young-adult college romance Flames. He was also the creative director on the series Engineering Girls where he supervised the writing and also collaborated with the director during the shoot as well as post-production. Kunal has worked with the director - Habib Faisal on the Disney+Hotstar series, Dil Bekaraar, an adaption of the book 'Those Pricey Thakur Girls' by Anuja Chauhan. Kunal is currently pursuing his short films as a director as well as writing a TV series for a leading OTT platform.
