She primarily focused on theater early in life until high school and took a break from performing to focus on pursuing collegiate softball, where she was recruited to play for Roanoke College. After college, she shifted her interest from the stage to the screen. Kaci has been cast in several independent films and is continuing to grow her acting career and expand her skill-set.

Kaci Walfall was born on June 20th, 2004 and is a Brooklyn, NY native. As a young child she enjoyed participating in school shows and entertaining her family. At age seven, Kaci's parents enrolled her in acting classes and she signed with an agent. She began her acting career with a recurring role on Lifetime's Army Wives and then at age nine joined the cast of "The Lion King" on Broadway as Young Nala. The following year, she originated the role of Lavender in the National Tour of "Matilda". Kaci has worked on several television shows. She has now taken on the leading role of Naomi in the television series Naomi airing on the CW. Naomi is a television adaptation of the DC comic book Naomi. Kaci is a follower of the Meisner and Stanislavski acting techniques and loves the craft of acting. She attends the musical theater department in her performing arts high school. Kacie Anning is a writer and director. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Television from the Queensland University of Technology and is a directing graduate of the Australian Film Television Radio School, where she was awarded the Foxtel Scholarship for Exceptional New Talent in 2011. In 2016, she won the Australian Directors Guild Award for Best Direction in an Original Online Project for Series 2 of Fragments of Friday. Kacie recently directed two episodes of the new Amazon comedy series Upload for showrunner Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks & Recreation), to be released in early 2020. In 2017, Kacie directed all six episodes of Matt Okine's break-up comedy The Other Guy for Stan in Australia, produced by Aquarius Films & eOne and distributed by Hulu in the US. Kacie also wrote three episodes of the upcoming second series of The Other Guy. Her other television directing credits include Hardball for ABC Me, the sketch comedy series Wham Bam Thank-you Ma'am for ABC and NBC's Seeso platform and the kids comedy series You're Skitting Me for ABC Me. Kacie's calling card was the online comedy series Fragments of Friday which she wrote, directed and starred in, with news.com.au heralding Kacie as 'Australia's answer to Amy Schumer' and The Huffington Post celebrating the show's 'unashamedly bold superstar female talent.' Fragments of Friday has been selected for various international festivals, including Raindance Film Festival where it won Best Ensemble Cast.
