Lyric Hurd is an actress, dancer, runway, and print model. Lyric stars in one of Netflix's most binged films, Roxanne Roxanne. Roxanne Roxanne is a biopic directed by Michael Larnell and based on the hip hop pioneer Lolita Gooden, who donned the moniker Roxanne Shante. Roxanne Roxanne stars Nia Long and academy award-winner Mahershala Ali. The film is produced by Forest Whitaker, Pharrell Williams, Mimi Valdes, and Nina Yang Bongiovi. Lyric scored the role of Fastima, younger sister to the lead character Roxanne , played by Chante Adams, and daughter to Peggy Gooden, played by Nia Long. Lyric has landed several modeling campaigns and national commercials. Current work includes Pantene, Elmer's Glue, and Dunkin Donuts. She has worked for brands such as Macy's, GILT, Chase Bank, Visa, and Red Lobster, to name a few.
