Madala Ravi

Madala Ravi( Madala Ravi Chand full name) is an Indian actor, producer, and Filmmaker. He is the son of Madala Ranga Rao a legendary progressive filmmaker, actor and producer. Madala Ravi started his film career in Erramallelu 1981 as a child artiste produced by Madala Ranga Rao.Madala Ravi won many awards as a child artiste, Nampally station kadi song which he acted and sung by SP Sailaja was an all-time hit song for 4 decades and got Nandi award and many Awards. It has been selected as one of the best songs in 100 yrs Telugu film industry songs. He did his MD in general medicine and doctorate in medicine in Gastroenterology. He returned to India in 2003 and started his own production house Bharat productions in which he produced and acted in the lead role his film Nenu Saitham directed by Dhavala Sathyam. Co-starred by Gurleen Chopra, Chandra Mohan Jaypraksh reddy Jeeva, etc. Madala Ranga Rao also did a special role in this film. The film was very popular among the masses and progressive sections and was a big hit. Nenu Saitham movie is the struggle of a common man against the atrocities of the ruling political leaders and vested interests of the state. It shows how a security guard to the minister of the state revolts against these atrocities and saves the people. Later he acted in the lead role in Maa Ilavelupu, broker 2, Panchamuki, Aaj ka Inquilaab and Naag Laxmi as a hero. His acting in Punchamukhi and Broker 2 was highly appreciated by critics and won him many awards. He also received the best debut hero award for Nenu Saitham Movie. He is continuing his film career as an actor and producer presently. Madala Ravi was also a jury member for many state, national film festivals.
